Hey, I'm Keli
a Florida native with a camera in hand and a life full of sunshine-soaked memories.
I grew up running barefoot under spanish moss-covered trees and over sandy paths, chasing the sunlight and ocassional lovebug.
Life here has always been full of the little moments. Salty air, summer rain, and the kind of warmth that slows life down just enough to notice the people and moments around you.
That’s what I chase through my lens: the quiet, honest moments that feel like home.
Why photography is so important to me...
My whole life, I've been drawn to freezing memories and being able to go back in to that time when looking through photos or videos. I remember as a little girl sitting with my grandparents and going through old photos, some of me as a baby, my mom as a little girl, my grandpa as a teen. The ones that stuck with me were a few of their grandparents as young adults. Those were always my favorites. Photos don't just serve as memories but as time capsules, to transport us back to times where loved ones are still around, to your wedding night, the birth of your first child, and so much more. My favorite moments to capture are the natural ones. The laughter, the quiet glances, and the little pieces of life that make a moment feel like home.
I never thought I would have followed this passion of photography, but in 2024 when I was finally diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and had been struggling with undiagnosed OCD, I was pushed by life's circumstances to stop pursuing my degree in dental hygiene and take life much slower. Now, strangely enough, I am grateful for the path that life has pushed me toward. It has brought me to a place where I can capture others stories that are just as intricate and as deep as my own, in a way that fulfills and nourishes my mind, body, and soul.
When I'm not behind the camera professionally, you can usually find me soaking up the Florida sun, playing with my dog in the water, spending time with my husband and family, or slowing down and nurturing my faith and relationship with Jesus.
